The first island of Hawaii we will highlight is Oahu.
It includes Kailua, Waikiki, Honolulu, Ewa Beach, Red Hill, Moanalua, Pearl Harbor,
Kea’ au Beach Park, Ka’ ena Point, Makaha Beach, Sunset Beach, Haleiwa & The North Shore

From Pearl Harbor, we headed over the mountains on the Pali Highway to Kailua
It was raining alot, so we didn’t see much.

From downtown Honolulu, we headed to Waikiki Beach where I learned how to surf; then we went to the International Market Place where my mom use to have a booth and to another place I use to live at

In this video, we head to the furthest point on the west side of the island-Ka’ena Point.
Then we head back to Makaha Beach and go inland to the mountains

And finally, we head to Sunset Beach where the world surfing championships take place. Then we end our Oahu journey through the town of Haleiwa

Here is our ferry ride to the memorial. I felt a sense of eerieness and my stomach began to knot thinking about how a few men can alter the course of many lives

We went back over the mountain to Honolulu and went to the first place I’ve ever eaten lobster;
the Ala Moana Shopping Center & the Hilton Hawaiian Village

On our second full day, we headed to the north to Makaha Beach and Kea’au beach where we camped for 2 months on this beach when they allowed. From here, we left living in Hawaii for good

From Makaha Beach, we headed back to Honolulu and over the mountains on the Likelike Highway to Kailua. I take you to another place I use to live at where we’d wake up to mountains surrounding us on all sides
